Costa Rica is a peaceful country, making it appealing to all, especially those with children and families. The locals are known to be kind, open and welcoming. Beyond just friendly people, the country offers those who choose to relocate there international a great quality of life including solid education, safe and secure housing, accommodation, activities and access to resources.

Costa Rica has and still is making leaps and bounds in terms of many aspects of their quality of life; they seem to be focused on continuous improvement, having improved their financial, political, safety and education landscapes. Over two thirds of those living in Costa Rica indicated they are happy with their personal financial situation. The combination of friendliness and tranquility have nearly half of expats saying they could see themselves living in Costa Rica forever.

In order to relocate, you will need to ensure you have adequate and up to date documents as the country will only grant you an initial 90 day visa. After that, you or your company or employer may have to pay to establish residency. Ensure you know the requirements before moving your entire life there.

Using Green Friendly and Economical Plastics

Reducing plastic waste is an important role for everybody in the community. Lately the government has promoted the responsibility of plastic reduction, as the world population increases and families growing faster with more needs all over the world.

Big brands and supermarkets have researched the the cheapest and easiest ways of providing more environmentally friendly packaging. Some of their ideas are simple ideas from a bygone era which are finally beginning to reach the market place.

The future is set to be more streamlined with less contact . It should be a ubiquitous environment which is digital and free from cards and packaging. This makes online shopping an attractive prospect.

The government’s 25 year plan seems to repeat this. They have a commitment to the environment, reducing landfill from needless waste in food and other industries. With more efficiency comes competition and choice for consumers, ultimately providing further benefits at a lower price.

The bottle industry has reduced their use through manufacturing improvements meaning more bottles for less plastic,resulting in less impact on the environment.

This all is marketed as a lifestyle change, where consumer enjoy simple things and the core factors of life and well-being. This has been taken for granted in our busy modern lives.

The sharing economy is one of the most remarkable developments of the 21st century’s global marketplace. People are sharing, renting and borrowing everything, from handbags to houses, instead of purchasing and owning the items themselves. This kind of collaborative consumption is also very much present in the automotive industry – where car-sharing is a growing trend that may very well change the way the industry looks and operates today.

The United States and China are the two largest markets for shared mobility, and the popularity is increasing in Europe. Owning your own car is still what the customers prefer though, according to several studies. This trend might be changing with the younger generation. Studies are also showing that a majority of asked millennials are actively making an effort to reduce their road-time and to drive less. One of the major factors for this is the environmental concerns. The way people are getting around in the future, especially in the cities, is believed to become “multi-modal” by those in the industry. Using smartphones to plan, mix and match trips combining cars, bikes, and public transportation might be the way to go. Flexibility is what the industry should be focusing on – in all aspects.

It is hard to know if the vehicle sales will decrease due to the growth of car-sharing. Some studies suggest that’s the case, while others state the opposite. Either way, it’s important to understand that the automotive industry will change, in one way or another. While the vehicle sales may decrease, new profitable options will rise. For the younger generation, who in their twenties don’t wish for an ownership, a car-sharing service could be a way to reach out to a potential future customer. With age, the needs and approach might change. For manufacturers offering flexible solutions, there’s a chance the customers remain loyal – making you the top-of-mind option when it’s time for the big purchase.
